Perdami President's Message
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Indonesia is one of the countries that has managed to control the COVID-19 pandemic well and President Joko Widodo officially
lifted the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) in all regions of Indonesia.
Based on this, Perdami Board decided to hold the scientific activities face to face in Yogyakarta.
On behalf of the Indonesian Ophthalmologists Association (Perdami), It is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you all to the 48th Perdami Annual Scientific Meeting in
Yogyakarta.
To facilitating the exchange of expertise, the meeting is accorded great importance as it provides an invaluable opportunity for ophthalmologists from Indonesia to network. The year 2023 has always been a special year for ophthalmology. Therefore this year's meeting is essential to once again strengthen our commitment and support for this global eye health campaign. The theme of the 48th Perdami Annual Scientific Meeting is Moving Upon Latest Innovation Holistic Eyecare.
I am convinced that this meeting will provide participants with unique experiences as well as the exchange of knowledge from esteemed eye doctors and researchers from Indonesia and abroad, to achieve a better care delivery to others.
We must keep abreast of these latest developments in order to be able to serve our patients at the best possible level. We hope this meeting will provide delegates with a unique opportunity for idea exchange as well as skill and knowledge sharing. This will result in better treatment and in turn benefit millions of individuals who are suffering from eye diseases.
The organizing committee of the 48th Perdami Annual Scientific meeting has been working very hard to make the quality of the program one of the finest of its type. We have assembled a wonderful array of world leading experts speaking at this meeting, facilitating the process of information exchange and sharing. Apart from the scientific content, Yogyakarta is also famous for its color, cheer, traditional food and customs.
